The Maccallan Fine Oak is triple cask matured in a unique, complex combination of exceptional oak casks; European oak casks seasoned with sherry, American oak casks seasoned with bourbon. This triple cask combination delivers an extraordinary smooth, delicate yet complex single malt, matured at the Macallan distillery for a minimum of ten years.
Maccallan 12 Year
COLOUR: Rich Gold
NOSE: Vanilla, with a hint of ginger, dried fruit, sherry sweetness and wood smoke. PALATE: Deliciously smooth, rich dried fruit and sherry, balanced with wood smoke and spice. FINISH: Sweet toffee and dried fruit with wood smoke and spice.
Maccallan 15 Year
COLOUR: Rich Straw
NOSE: Sublime and full, with a hint of rose and cinnamon. PALATE: Intense rich chocolate, with a hint of orange and raisin. FINISH: Lingering, with a hint of chocolate, orange and dried fruit.
Maccallan 18 Year
COLOUR: Light Mahogany
NOSE: Dried fruit and ginger, with a hint of citrus, vanilla and cinnamon. PALTE: rich dried fruit, with spice, clove, orange and wood smoke. FINISH: Full and lingering, with dried fruit, sweet toffee, ginger and a hint of wood smoke.
